Romantic Ideas:
A Romantic Walk In The Rain For those who are not
afraid of getting wet, here is something romantic to do together: pick a night
that it is supposed to rain to take your sweetie somewhere like the beach or to
the park. Nothing is more romantic than kissing in the rain.
A day in the rain My boyfriend and I both love rain
and storms. One day we were on the phone when it started to rain pretty hard. He
told me that he had to go because his favourite TV show was on. I was pretty
bummed that he would choose TV over me. But 10 minutes later he showed up at my
house and "kidnapped me". We drove for a while then he pulled over by a big open
field. We got out and played in the rain until it stopped raining. I'll never
forget that day.
A day with movies On a rainy day or even a nice one,
rent a couple of movies. Something like, Love Jones, or Til' there Was
You.
A most romantic evening Well to me, one of my most
romantic dates was with the one I love, he took me to a place where we used to
go, it is on a cliff, that over looks the town, and he took me there to see the
town all lit up. I was kind of upset to see that it was cloudy so we didn't get
to see the stars, but there was a full moon, and we got to watch it come in and
out of the clouds, and there was a lightening storm we watched, and we got to
listen to the rain fall down on his truck, as we listened to the radio, and they
were playing romantic songs then. I wanted to get out and dance on the cliff,
but it was raining too hard. Perhaps we will get to do that another night. We
just sat there, and talked for two hours, looked at the town, and the moon, and
listened to the sweet sound of rain drops. To me, that was a night filled with
perfection.
Camping In I did this for my boyfriend and it worked
out well. Take your tent out in the rain, or any time of year, and set it up
INSIDE. Then get out faux Christmas trees and place them around the room. Cover
the ceiling with a black sheet, and string white lights back and forth. Buy a
tape of outdoor sounds and play it lightly in the background. Set up the
microwave in the room to microwave Smores, or use construction paper to make a
fake "fire.” It really is a romantic experience.
Chasing Rainbows Often a Sunday drive isn't bad, but
on a rainy day there is still something interesting to do. Grab a Camera, and on
that rainy day, go for a casual drive. If the sun is in the east try to find a
place the rain will be west of the sun. If the sun is in the west, search for
where the rain will be on the east, and just simply keep driving until you find
that one place you found your rainbow. It may take a few tries, but I am sure
you will eventually find a romantic spot to remember. This lends plenty time to
conversation, and patience will lead to your reward. It isn't the point of
calling the first place you find a rainbow romantic, but finding that one place
you both can call romantic. The truth is you can follow a rainbow in most
cases.
Dancing In The Rain One night when my boyfriend and I
were together, it began to rain. He came up to me while I was in the kitchen and
drug me outside onto the gazebo. He had our song playing and insisted that he
have this dance. It was a night to remember.
During the storm The first night that my girlfriend
and myself went out, we went driving hoping to catch up to a passing storm. We
eventually caught up to it and we found ourselves out in the middle of nowhere,
kansas on a dirt road. We decided to get out of the car and stare up at the
awesome lightening display and just start chatting about anything that came into
our heads. I then asked her to dance, slow of course, and there we danced, in
the middle of the road with lightening everywhere and an occasional rain drop,
for a few songs. And ladies and gentlemen that's where we fell in love.
Enjoy the Rain There was one time when I was at my
fiancé’s house and we were sitting outside talking. His phone rang and as he
went to go get it, it started to rain. I then went out to the patio and sat on
the ground in the rain and focused on the sound of the drops hitting the ground.
He came outside and saw me like that and rather than pulling me inside and
wrapping me up, he walked right back inside and came out carrying a chess board.
We then lounged out on the patio under the rain together while enjoying a nice
game of chess. I showed him how to listen to the rain, and he showed me exactly
how much he loved me. The feeling of the rain on our bodies and the level of
calmness and serenity that took place then reminds me of exactly how much I love
him.
Game of Romance One night, while waiting for a high
school football game to end, it started to rain and got really cold. My
boyfriend noticed me getting cold, so he wrapped his arms around me and held me
close to keep me warm, then he slowly and softly kissed me. Since we both love
the rain we didn’t mind getting wet. It was the most romantic time of my
life.
Kissing In The Rain On a boring, rainy afternoon when
you and your love are sitting in front of the TV, turn it off, stand up, grab
their hand and go outside. Give your love a big hug, lean back and look into
their eyes deeply and tell them you love him/her, then kiss your love
passionately.... As silly as it seems, being soaking wet and kissing probably
doesn't sound too romantic, but you'll be surprised by the reaction you get if
you’re playful about it.
Let it rain Take your husband/wife/lover outside in
the rain and make mad passionate love to her/him. The rain on your body will
excite you more than you can ever imagine.
Lightning Crashes One night, my boyfriend came to
spend some time with me, as we hadn't been able to see each other that much that
week...Right after he arrived at my house, a huge thunderstorm erupted. Instead
of switching on the T.V., I turned off the lights in my living room and put my
favorite song on- "Lightning Crashes" by Live. My boyfriend and I curled up in
my old black leather recliner and watched the lightning together...and then
eventually we became more engrossed with one another. The kisses we exchanged
that night were so intense and electric...We didn't have to fool around...The
weather, the song, and the mood were perfect enough.
Love at First Rain The rain was pouring down as I took
her home. We ran up to her porch, soaking wet. Then for the next hour we stood
out on her front porch, talking. That was the first time I told her that I love
her. I'll remember that night every time it rains...
Puzzle Fun My boyfriend & I bought a puzzle and
after we laid out all the pieces, I told him whoever can find the first puzzle
match wins a prize. He loves a challenge so he said, "Ok, what kind of a prize?"
I know he loves his back scratched so I said, "Ok, if you find a match first
then I'll scratch your back for 3 minutes, but if I find it first, then you have
to massage my back for 3 minutes". After we would find puzzle pieces we would
keep changing the challenge. And we kept a watch close to us. It started getting
sexier with intimate "prizes" and higher puzzle-piece quotas. This sexy twist
made it so much more fun and we found pieces a lot quicker! We both got a lot of
mini fantasies fulfilled. He still talks about it to this day. I think he wants
us to get another puzzle! :)
Rain Wait for a warm rainy night. Get your love into
the car (any excuse will do) and then drive to a secluded place. Put some
Ellington in the CD player, get out into the deluge, and dance until the CD
ends. A perfect night that you both will never forget.
Rain Dancing If you're ever walking in the rain with
your sweetheart, just drop whatever you're carrying (unless it's a priceless Van
Gough) and grab her hand. Start dancing in the pouring rain, regardless of
spectators. This works even better if your girl is a dancer by hobby. :)
Rainy Day Picnic For our 1-year dating anniversary, I
wanted to be the one to do something for him. My idea was to have a picnic on a
dock by the beach. I went out and bought a cute little picnic basket, a blanket,
the whole works. Unfortunately, it rained really hard that day! Well, since my
boyfriend still had no idea what was going on, I decided to have the picnic at
my house! I put the blanket down on the floor of the living room, filled my
picnic basket with 2 beautiful wine glasses, and lit over a dozen candles. I
also told him I would pick him up to make sure he didn't come early! Anyway,
while I was setting everything up I ordered our favorite dinner - a large
pepperoni pizza, cheesy bread, and 2 cokes. When he walked in, the room was lit
up with candles, the smell of pizza, and our song playing on the radio. We sat
down and put our pizza and cheesy bread on some very find china and poured our
cokes into our wine glasses! After that, we danced for hours to our favorite
songs! It was so much fun! He told me it was going to be hard to top my romantic
idea!!
Rainy Day Romance Some day when the weather is REALLY
bad (rainy, thunderstorms, etc.), invite your lover over for the day. Spend the
whole time cuddling on the couch; kissing and hugging. Listening to the rumbling
thunder and pouring rain. Covered in warm quilts and each other. It's the
warmest and safest feeling I have ever experienced. It may sound boring, but it
really is a beautiful thing to do together. When my boyfriend and me talk over
the phone, he almost always suggests that we do it again the next time it rains.
(Or even if it doesn't!).
Romance on a Rainy Afternoon My husband and I were out
shopping one day when it started raining. We decided to seek refuge in a
bookstore nearby, when I had an idea. I found a large comfy sofa chair and
pulled it up to a window. While he made himself comfortable, I went and picked
out a couple of love poetry books (with topics like "we're meant for each other"
and "how much you mean to me"). We cuddled together on the chair, and took turns
reading meaningful poems to each other, and yet still enjoying the view of the
warm summer rain coming down. He ended up falling asleep in my arms (he was
tired from all the shopping!), but when he woke, he said it was one of the most
romantic afternoons he's ever had!
Romantic Thunderstorms My fiance and I love to sit on
the back porch during thunderstorms. We put the radio speakers up to the windows
and put on romantic music. Then we grab a blanket and cuddle under the gazebo
and just watch the lightening, listen to the thunder and rain, and just hold
each other. It's great especially if you end up making love out there.
Spur of the moment One time, my boyfriend and I were
out to dinner, and we both dressed up, and he was in this gorgeous silk suit...
we decided that after dinner we'd take a stroll on the beach..so, we were
walking down the beach, hand in hand, incredibly peaceful when all of a
sudden..boom!..thunder..it started to pour, and we were both wearing silk
outfits..but he didn't care..he pulled me down on the sand and i asked him "what
about your suit? it'll be ruined!!" he said that he didn't care, what's one suit
compared to the lifetime of love we would share..then he pulled me back down on
the sand, and we just kissed and cuddled in the rain..i have never been so
touched in all my life.
Stormy Night My husband and I have been married for
several years, and we share 7 beautiful children together, the oldest being 9.
Romance? Yes it is all around. One day recently, there was a storm on the coast
in which we live. My husband blindfolded me, grabbed me by the hand and took me
for a walk. Upon arriving at our destination, I was allowed to take off the
blindfold to discover that he had built a stick bench that overlooked the ocean.
We sat there watching the storm, talking about our day and spent some quality
time together.
The Perfect Rainy Day Set a rainy day aside to be
alone with your loved one, in a seductive dark room, and pamper them as they
please. If you are a man, brush your woman's hair, and share secrets and
feelings. Become best friends, it will bond two lovers together more than anyone
could ever imagine. Give massages, back scratches, look at your partner and
realize how beautiful they are...you will experience magic.
To Be a Kid Again I was once dating this really
amazing guy and one of the most memorable dates we ever had was when he picked
me up from my house and went to his apartment. We went to the pool there and
laid out in the sun and tanned. Later, we went to the bookstore to browse then
dinner and a movie. After all that we went back to his place and it was pouring
rain outside. We already had our swimsuits on from tanning so I said, "Hey!
Let's play in the rain!" We went out and played tag, hide-n-seek, and we even
mud wrestled. It was something we both hadn't done in years and it was very
exciting! I've never forgotten and hopefully he hasn't either.
Water Lilies As my boyfriend and I were having a walk
in the park, it started to rain. We were in the middle of the park near a lake.
He asked me to close my eyes and wait. Within 5 minutes, he was standing in
front of me with a bunch of water lilies. He had entered the lake, which went to
his waist, and picked them for me. This was the most romantic thing anyone has
done for me.
Welcomed Rain Storm On a stormy night, invite your
love over for a cozy evening. Order a few movies from Pay-Per-View and pop some
popcorn, or make a chili and cheese dip with nachos. Have fun feeding each
other, hugging, laughing, and snuggling up together under a warm, soft
blanket.
When it Rains You and your mate get a blanket and go
out side sit on your car and watch the sky together and tell your mate how much
he/she means to you. Or when it is raining or thundering outside do the same
thing tell him/her how much they mean to you, and you don't know where you would
be right now if he/she didn't like you. (It works for me :)
